Ramkhamhaeng Adventist International School (RAIS) Thailand is a private Christian School owned and operated by G.J. Education Co. Ltd. The school’s operational costs are met by tuition payments. RAIS is based on the Adventist School System operated around the world. The distinctive goals of this school give promise to a quality program of Christian education. RAIS is open to any student who supports the standards of its educational program and who values the principles of Adventist education. The teaching medium and curriculum is based in American English. The students are encouraged to speak English on the campus at all times.

RAIS is a miracle school because of the miraculous way things have fallen into its place. During December 1998, Mr. Udom heard a voice asking him to convert his speaker factory to an evangelist outreach school. This voice repeatedly came to him until he finally fell on his knees and prayed. He accepted this call from God, asking Him to open the right door and to bring the right people.

In May 1999, after much careful and prayerful consideration, Mr. Udom transformed his factory into Ramkhamhaeng Adventist International School. It was completed for opening in August of 1999 with the full encouragement of the Thai Ministry of Education. Today the school stands as a monument of the power and leading God. We believe that Christian education should help repair the broken connection between God and His earthly children. Each student learns more about their Creator and grows to be more like Him. To reach this goal teachers and students work together using the Bible as the most important textbook in the search for truth and light.

Ramkhamhaeng Adventist International School is dedicated to giving each student a well-rounded Christian Education while paying special attention to academic excellence and character development.

Philosophy

Ramkhamhaeng Adventist International School seeks to provide a holistic education that focus on academic excellence character development. The educational philosophy is firmly grounded on the following Adventist view.

The Bible reveals God as the Source of all knowledge and the Creator of all life. Through its teachings students learn that God loves and cares for them individually.

The faculty seeks to assist each student according to his or her own personal academic and social needs, because each child is viewed as a unique creation of God, therefore emphasis is placed on positive reinforcement rather than punitive measures.
