JGSEE
Thailand
is one of the seven centers of excellence in graduate education and
research supported by the Thai Ministry of University Affairs under its
Higher Education Development Project. It is a consortium of five academic
insititutions led by

Sirindhorn
International Institute of Technology at Thammasart University ,
Prince
of Songkhla University
as collaborating partners.
Established in
1998, the School is funded by the Budget Bureau through an ADB Loan
Program and by the Energy Policy and Planing Office.

center in graduate education
and research in the fields of energy and environmental
technologies. |

Mission
The mission of JGSEE is to provide high quality education and
training at Masters and PhD levels, to perform international
quality research and to provide services, in response to national
science and technology needs in the development and deployment of
sustainable energy supply, and efficient energy use while
protecting the environment. |
Study
Programs

JGSEE
offers three study programs leading to
The
degrees of :

Master
of Science ( MSc ),
-
Research-based
Master of Philosophy ( MPhil ) and
-
Doctor
of Philosophy ( PhD ).
All
programs are conducted in English by highly qualified local and
international academic staff. The School operates on a bi-semester
basis. Having completed the first semester of course work,
students may choose to undertake their thesis study at any of the
five partner institutions.
